Category: Broadcast/Video ProjectONE, The Ohio State University Medical Center’s $1 billion expansion project, will generate 5,000 new construction jobs and an additional 10,000 new full-time jobs upon completion, nearly doubling the Medical Center’s economic impact on central Ohio. By 2015, ProjectONE is projected to generate approximately $1.7 billion in added revenues for Ohio’s economy. These gains will come directly from the Medical Center’s payroll expenses and the purchase of equipment, supplies and services, and indirectly from public and private research funding, private investment and the commercialization of research discoveries.
