Karl Gebhardt is skilled in government relations, issues management and community relations, and he oversees client relationships in these areas. Mr. Gebhardt joined Paul Werth Associates in 2006, folding his consulting practice into the firm’s public affairs division. With more than 35 years of professional experience, Mr. Gebhardt focuses on issues related to natural resources, energy, land use, economic development and outdoor recreation. The former president of Teater-Gebhardt & Associates, a natural resource management and policy-consulting firm, he also worked with the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Mr. Gebhardt spent 18 years in management positions at the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation and was director of government affairs for the Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives. His clients have included Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC, Clean Ohio Fund, the Ohio Forestry Association, Northcoast Gas Transmission and BoaterExam.
