Werth Welcomes Global Brand Marketer

We are pleased to announce the addition of Mac Joseph to the Werth team as Vice President, Digital Marketing. Mac brings to Werth clients expertise in building brands through digital channels and to integrating results-driven digital strategies into communications programs. His areas of specialization include social media, e-marketing, Web analytics and influencer and partnership marketing.

Mac joins Werth from New York City where he served as Director of E-Marketing and Social Media for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and its 29 properties worldwide. For Mandarin Oriental, Mac directed the luxury brand’s global social media and e-marketing strategy and oversaw the associated multimillion dollar budget. His efforts helped establish the brand’s online presence including more than 100 accounts on over 10 social media platforms. Mac’s areas of focus included organic and paid social media, search engine marketing (PPC, SEO, local) and meta search. Mac also was responsible for identifying new digital opportunities and educating the broader organization on relevant trends and innovations.

Mac began his career in public relations with Sotheby’s and later supported the marketing team’s Web-based properties and the launch of Sotheby’s Preferred, the brand’s multifaceted VIP client loyalty program.

Mac is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History of Art.
